On March 6, the Russian Union of Travel Industry held its VIII annual Congress in Moscow.
The largest industry event gathered over 1500 participants on-site, with even more specialists joining online. The focus was on growth prospects, key trends, and current market challenges. Participants also had the opportunity to establish business contacts and discuss cooperation with representatives of leading companies.
This year's Congress theme was space. It was evident in everything — from the design of invitations and the website to the business program. The "Gagarin" hall discussed the development of the tourism industry in Russia, the "Titov" hall featured regions presenting their tourism opportunities, and the "Nikolaev" hall showcased international destinations popular among Russian tourists.
The lineup of speakers brought together key industry representatives. Among them were the general directors of "Alean" and "Fun&Sun" companies, the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Altai Republic, as well as leaders and top managers of the largest tourism companies.
