The Russian IT company "Oblako", developer of the Wi-Fly multimedia platform for passenger transport, participated in the *Business Mission of Moscow Companies to the Republic of Türkiye*. The event took place in Istanbul from September 8 to 10, 2026, with the support of the Moscow Export Center.
Over three days, company representatives held more than two dozen negotiations with potential customers and partners. Among those interviewed were representatives from the banking sector, universities, the subway system, transport organizations, and electronics manufacturers. The variety of meetings showed that interest in Wi-Fly extends beyond the traditional passenger transport market and encompasses related areas – from digital services and content to payment instruments, advertising, and technological integrations.
The business mission program included a panel session, individual B2B negotiations, on-site meetings, and a visit to the GITEX Istanbul 2026 exhibition. The main topics were possible pilot projects, partnership and distribution models, technology integration, and the adaptation of Russian solutions to the conditions of the Turkish market.
The negotiations confirmed the demand for the product. Potential partners discussed not only the general concept of the platform but also practical application options. For the company, this was an important signal: Wi-Fly meets current market demands and can be used in projects involving organizations from various industries.
Wi-Fly is a software and hardware multimedia platform for air, rail, road, and water transport. The solution creates a local wireless network within the vehicle and provides passengers with access to movies, music, books, games, route information, and additional services via smartphone, tablet, or laptop. The platform can operate autonomously, without a constant internet connection.
Today, "Oblako" solutions are used on more than 55 aircraft, and the platform's annual audience exceeds 8.5 million passengers. The existence of active implementations allows the platform to be positioned as a ready-made product that can be adapted to the requirements of foreign carriers and technology partners.
The results of the business mission showed that Turkish companies are considering Russian technologies not only in an introductory format. More than 20 meetings and a wide range of discussed tasks confirmed a substantive interest in Wi-Fly and outlined the potential for "Oblako's" further presence in the Turkish market.
We thank the Moscow Export Center for organizing the trip and the opportunity to directly meet with representatives of Turkish business and the technological community.
