The VIII All-Russian Congress of Travel Agents of the Russian Union of Travel Industry (RST) titled “Mission: Cosmos” took place in Moscow – one of the largest professional events in the industry in 2026. The event was held at the Sechenov University congress center, where representatives of the tourism business from dozens of Russian regions gathered.
According to the organizers, over a thousand specialists participated in the congress: travel agents, tour operators, representatives of specialized companies, and market experts. The forum traditionally served as a key platform for discussing the current state of the industry and its prospects.
The central theme of the business program was the changes in the tourism market in the context of a new economic reality. Participants discussed the transformation of demand, the development of domestic tourism, the recovery of international destinations, and tools to improve sales efficiency.
Separate sessions were dedicated to the digitalization of the industry, legal aspects of travel agents' activities, and the implementation of new technologies. Within the workshop zone, dozens of companies presented their products and solutions shaping the 2026 tourist season.
A key event was the plenary discussion “New Opportunities in a Changing Market,” during which leading experts and representatives of major tour operators outlined the main vectors of industry development.
Among the participants was the company “Oblako” (Wi-Fly), which presented its technological solutions for the tourism business. The company's participation reflects the growing trend towards industry digitalization and the integration of modern services into travel agents' work.
The congress concluded with an informal program dedicated to International Women's Day.
